We consider it to be a vital part of our children’s education to be aware and to learn to care for our environment and planet for our future generation and ourselves.

Each class has elected members of our Eco Council called ‘Eco Warriors’.  Through this council we have a whole school recycling programme for paper and cardboard.  The Eco Warriors are responsible for turning off lights to conserve electricity.  Year 6 Eco Warriors and Mr Gilligan, our caretaker, monitor consumption of gas and electricity; we constantly try to find ways to reduce this! 

We are very proud to fly our Green Flag which shows the work we have done to earn this status, an important achievement, which includes all the work carried out with the pond and planting around the pond area to create special eco systems.
